Dear Editor – “Whoever
can conquer the street will one day conquer the state, if you tell a lie long enough, loud enough and often enough, the people
will believe it. The secret to get someone to believe a lie is constant
repetition. Just tell it over, and over, and over again.” –
Joseph Goebbels for Adolph Hitler.
Sir, please allow
me to share some things people need to know about Multi-Level Marketing (MLM).
Whilst this article will focus on shinning some light on MLM, the main reason
for writing this piece is in relation to the Bio-Disc marketed by Questnet or
Qnet. Now a-days multi-level marketing are not always illegal businesses so
they are not always scams right! Really?
Here are 3 facts
about MLMs, first of all, all MLM operate in a pyramid structure
Amway, Nuskin, Questnet and SavelifeInsurance are just
some of the thousands out there. They operate on a downline of distributors and
a hierarchy of multiple levels of compensation whereby the sales force
is compensated not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the
sales of others they recruit.
There are other
terms used to refer to MLMs; ‘Pyramid Selling’, ‘Referral Marketing’ and
‘Network Marketing’(catch phrase, e-commerce) in which I believe the term
Questnet used in Solomon Islands.
In their effort
to disguise themselves they also used terms such as , “word-of-mouth marketing”, “interactive
distribution”, and “relationship
No difference, they’re all pyramid MLM.
explore basically how they operate, -MLM get to throw meetings, usually at a
meeting hall or at someone’s home with lots of graphs and samples and data,
like sales pitch and so forth, they want you to buy into the MLM with a few
hundred dollars then you suppose to sell things, toothbrush, gum, watch, gold
coin, bio-disc etc. at the same time you suppose to have your own meeting and
having other people to join they will tell you that other people who join under
you known as your down line will sale products as well and you get a commission
from your down line sales at the same you have to kick up some of your profits
to the up line people who brought you in -quite simple, this is a food chain
and you are at the bottom of it.
It can be very
difficult, if not impossible, for most individuals to make a lot of money
through the direct sale of products to consumers. And big money is what
recruiters often allude to in their pitches.
Third MLM like
Questnet operates what is called ‘Duplication’
or ‘Binary Compensation Plan (BCP)’ where one only have to look for 2 direct
Independent Representatives (IRs) that is, to place one on your left and
one on your right leg. These 2 legs directly placed with you are called
Tracking Centres (TCs).
Then you have to help and train them to duplicate the process. They will
also have to find 2 new Independent Representatives (IRs) under each of them.
Primarily you have to work with your right and left TCs to balance or
match the product transactions measured in Unit Volumes (UVs) in
order to qualify for the commissions. So
how can we identify a MLM?
Simple way to recognize MLM is if somebody tells you about a great
business opportunity, financial freedom and invite you to a meeting of any kind
the first time you hear the word “Upline or Downline” -get out the door and run
like hell, don’t look back, please don’t look back run for your life and save
your life and your people and your country.
Roland Whitsell, former business professor who spend 40 years researching
MLMs said: “The strongest, most powerful motivational force today is false
hope.” Don’t let them hook you.
So why is it then that we are so critical and skeptical about MLM’s, well
simply because it’s an uncertain investment that drains money out of the
country (economy), its pyramid structure puts you at the bottom of the food
chain and the trouble is you don’t get to get to the top of the business,
unless you know somebody who runs the show and they personally invite you to
the very top level.
People in MLM business never make any real money at all except those at
the top of the game.
What’s the fuss with Bio-Disc and Questnet?
The important thing you need to know is; Questnet
is a subsidiary of multinational conglomerate network marketing company Quest Internationa Ltd (strong powerful
financial standing) and QI Ltd is in partnership with The Amezcua wellness center the group that own and produce the
Bio-Disc, Chi Pendant, Straw Tube, Pewter Bio Disc, and Shower Shell. Questnet
does the marketing.
uses legal schemes of marketing in many countries, but also uses illegal
pyramid scheme in other countries, some of which banned QuestNet are: Syria,
Iran and Rwanda, Sri Lanka and others.
Now as far as
bio-disc is concerned, it is not an energy enhancer product as claim and not
even a bio product, it is simply a transparent garbage glass, so to sell such garbage fake product for
money amounts to scam right! There we go, connect them together and we have a
big fat lie and scam under the auspices of RYTHM, i.e; R – Raise, Y – Yourself,
T – To, H – Help , M – Mankind.
Read article from
Samson Viulu on bio disc and also go check out Forum Solomon Islands on
facebook and read people’s comments and real experiences which they shared and
you can easily conclude that bio-disc is a crap!
Don’t become a victim. Protect other innocent people from this fraud and
scam. Please don’t ruin your family and friends.
Don’t even attend the quest presentations and seminars. Therefore I call
on all Solomon Islanders not to join such companies, for they drain foreign
exchange (money) off our country, they’re not interested in investment and
development of Solomon Islands.
My good people, wealth is only gained through honest and hard work, so
LIVE WITH IT!
