I thought when I moved into a rental house, that I would save money by not having Internet or TV. I honestly did not think that I used either one a lot, so I was surprised when I got my cell phone bill and saw that I had exceeded my data allotment by a lot! That is when I decided to see how much it would cost if I got local Internet. The only problem was that I had to figure out which way to go with my Internet. I knew that I could have satellite, DSL, cable, or fiber optic, so I had to research my options very carefully.
Thankfully, I was able to find a website that had a lot of information on it about the different options that I had available to me. The more I read, the more I knew which option I was going to take. I just wanted to make sure that I would be able to do everything that I wanted to do, which was check my email, do my social media accounts, and watch some streaming videos. That was the main thing I wanted to ensure would be okay, because I have never been a fan of buffering.
When I saw that I would be able to watch TV shows without a problem on my computer, I knew that I was making the right choice. I had considered getting TV programming as well, but that would be an expense I would be able to save on since all of my TV shows are available online. I was able to get the service turned on pretty quickly, and it is much nicer watching my shows on my laptop instead of on the small screen on my phone. The price is definitely right too, and that makes me even happier.
